happy endings

Let's start of with this two words: Happy Endings<3

i dont have to explain the meaning of those two words do I? they actually say it all. as for the definition of it, yeah well.. there isnt one. its just an ending n its happy, period. in terms of love, of family, of education, even in terms of your entire general life. how many of you long for a happy ending? happy endings like you see in movies, in fairytales and in stories. you probably wish for ur life to be exactly like the female or male lead, where things start out with them getting a new challenge or an obstacle in their life, they battle it emphasizing the effort put in and dramatize the entire situation making them look like heroes and finally end off with a perfect ending a happy one where they most probably would go: "And they lived happily ever after."

yeah. GET RID OF THAT DREAM. im not saying that happy endings dont exist, they do. but to have that dream is just ridiculous and i can give u5 simple reasons why.

5 simple reasons why :

you are a normal human with no exaggeration/dramatization of ur life obstacles.
if u really meet a situation as dramatic as in the movie/story, you probably wont survive cos the level of perseverance/patience/strength/whatever of the lead character isn't what your usual average-on-the-street-person would have.
you already meet obstacles in your life.
you already are your own hero but if u want to be as perfect as the lead everytime? well i can only say no one is perfect AT ALL.
we already experience happy endings in our life, lots of times in fact, we just dont realise it.

people usually think happy endings are the end of everything. but they are not. the story does NOT end there, it continues its just that the story only tells us part of the lead character's life and it ends for that period. life goes on after that where he/she meets more obstacles n has to solve more problems.

so what, u say? happy endings at least happen to them but nt us. nah uh. think about it we go through our own obstacles each day small n big everytime we solve a problem or overcome an obstacle results in a big/small happy ending. of course not always will it be a happy ending but we experience it all the time!

quarreling w ur parents n finally come to an agreement is a type of happy ending, studying super hard for an exam and scoring well at the end of it is also a happy ending. Family gets tgt again, girl finally graduates school, girl found a boyf, they are all happy endings too!

then u ask me, but in movies couples are happy tgt n get married n are in love w each other making each other happy! thats a happy ending!

but hey, what makes u think that the character would marry her boyf in the future or whether the married couple doesnt quarrel at all or end up divorced 10-20 years later if the movie/story continues?

the movies/stories always lead us to misunderstand things and make our fantasies come true by cutting the story off at a happy period of the character's life, we even imagine a perfect ending till they die. but noooo.. hello? come back to reality the story doesnt end there.

my point of this ENTIRE post is to tell u guys: HEY. HAPPY ENDINGS HAPPEN ALL THE TIME IN YOUR LIFE. IT'S JUST UP TO YOU TO APPRECIATE EVERY SINGLE HAPPY ENDING U EXPERIENCE. DON'T JUST BRUSH IT AWAY AND FANTASIZE ABOUT WHAT YOU ACTUALLY HAVE AT THE MOMENT. APPRECIATE EVERYTHING U HAVE RIGHT NOW.
